• Exeter Astrology group: Other activities for the spring includes the continuation of a regular monthly 2012 Study Group for existing members, looking at the ideas surrounding the end of the Mayan Calendar. Our reference text will be Geoff Stray's Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Ecstasy (A Complete Guide to the End-of-Time Predictions). We are also now holding regular social events at The George pub in South Street in between the regular monthly meetings. Please meet at the Friends Meeting House at 7:30PM. The session runs until 9:30PM. Diary dates for the spring 2008 sessions will follow shortly.

Seattle, Washington State, USA: 2012 Study Group Led by Dorene Carrel

"Many ancient civilizations, including the Mayans, have calendars that end in 2012. Most prophecies predict enormous changes in our civilization at that time on several levels, including major earth changes and a shift in how we
perceive time itself. There is also a galactic alignment occuring between the Earth's ecliptic and the center of the Milky Way galaxy. How can we best prepare for this momentous time?

I would like to begin a 2012 Study Group by early next year. This group would read and discuss related literature and view videos that provide information about the significance of the prophecies concerning the year
2012 and the end of the Mayan Calendar. I propose a monthly in-person meeting and in-between e-mail connection for those interested. Here's a beginning list of books and DVDs that I have compiled on the subject.
