Chris Quinn's MAGSA
In Australia, Chris Quinn builds flat-tank machines and has a Youtube channel recording his efforts. He is currently working on a v-twin special featuring a MAG engine (circa 1919) with a BSA frame and 3 speed BSA ghearbox. Below are his two videos showing progress so far:

KALABENDU 815 by PsychoEngine - video close-ups and the other side
"KALA BENDU 815". "Kala Bendu": 815cc v-twin. Crankcases are home-cast from melted-down cylinder blocks. The barrells are made from FOUR 200cc barrells from the Bajaj Pulsar 200 (an Indian brand that has a miniature copy of a Honda CBF500). Two 200 cc barrells are stacked vertically for each new extra-long barrell, presumably with a new long liner. The con-rods are "Norton with a stroke length of 100mm" (as used on Norton Model 18 490cc OHV single). However, the bore size is 72 mm as opposed to 79mm bore of the Norton model 18. The pistons are from a "Honda Excelent" (Honda Civic) car, and the cam is a one-off. Timing belt is from a Mitsubishi L300 van.

From 'The Motor Cycle', July 24th, 1924:
BUILT in 1924: "AMERICAN-EXCELSIOR-TRIUMPH. An American V-twin Fitted with British Four-valve Cylinders. Something new in ‘hybrids’ has been evolved by Mr. R. Taymans, a well-known motor cyclist and motor cycle agent of Brussels. Agent for the American Excelsior, he has a great admiration for the strength, rigidity, and excellent steering qualities of this machine; he has also an equal admiration for the productions of Britain. So he has manufactured an eight-valve American Excelsior, employing two four-valve 500cc Triumph cylinders adapted to the Excelsior crank case. Did you ever wonder what happened to Tom TG's VINTAGE V-TWIN ENGINE BUILD from V-Twin News p.6 (2015)?
video of engine running: here
Build completed...
Well, he continued with the project to install the engine in a boardtracker and told the story on his next BUILD BLOG (click for whole story)... but here is the pictorial progression:
Ever heard of Erie Motorcycles? Originally from New York State, one has been re-created in Italy by an old gentleman in the Milan area of Italy. The project was filmed by Rodolfo Crocci, but he hasn't mentioned the name of the creator, unfortunately.
