BROCKHOUSE INDIAN-MATCHLESS: A 1200cc INDIAN CHIEF engine in a 1959 Matchless chassis, owned by Ed Lobb, who claims it was built "in the Indian plant when Brockhousehad it in 1960-63." It is fitted with a Sparks 3-phase alternator that allows charging at low rpm, and runs a 15-tooth countershaft sprocket and Linkert carb.
Steve Krzystyniak's INDIAN-MATCHLESS, with a Super Scout 600cc motor; built in New Zealand. Fitted with an Amal Concentric 930 (30mm diameter) carburettor and a special scoop to pull in warm air from the rear cylinder.
Adam Vincent's INDIAN-MATCHLESS in the pipeline.....ans a HD WLA 45 engine in a BSA.... and Shaun Veness's Indian with Norton tank and BSA forks

Brian's first ride out on the Shackleford Special Mk.2.
It has an Ariel swinging arm frame with the rear end cut off and made rigid; Norton forks; Norton dolls head gearbox (minus dolls head, plus hand change) and Commando cluster. The rear cylinder head is turned round to enable two carbs and both exhausts pointing forward.

The engine was designed and hand-made in Heaton Chapel in Stockport, Greater Manchester, UK. The end of the article is missing, so his identity is currently a mystery. Thanks to Howard Burrows for the picture.

WESLAKE EXCELSIOR SPECIAL: Steve Hillary, who runs RED MAX SPEED SHOP in Tiverton, Devon, UK is buiding special with this prototype WESLAKE engine supplied to EXCELSIOR HENDERSON. The bike will either be a flat tracker or cafe racer.The engine stayed in the UK, probably at Riccardo Engine Developments. DOUBLE-MAC-BAKER: Phil Baker's Velocette v-twin inspired by Alan Millyard's bike is making progress: An easy way to tell them apart is that Phil's bike has two Velocette fiahtails, (one each side), while Alan's bike has a Brough-style double fishtail as shown below
