Norton V-Twins using Peugeot Engine at Birmingham MCC race , Rose Hill, 1906 (Indian Motorcycles in USA had built a v-twin racer the previous year - 1905 - but Norton had a V-twin on their range from 1906, whereas Indian listed them from 1907) Harley Davidson didnt build a v-twin until 1907

Phelon and Moore...

Phelon and Moore were based in Cleckheaton and in 1914 they BUILT TWO PROTOTYPE 90-degree v-twins. They were 770 cc...the first had 2 gears and the second had 4 gears.Nobody knows what happened to them. If you know, please let me know! gstray@btopenworld.com
