August Noble Goes for the Jugular: The new book that attempts to de-bunk the 2012 end-date has been written as a fictional conversation so that the author does not have to justify his statements or give any references. Dire Gnosis reviews the book to check out whether or not there is any substance to the allegations.

AD 2012 - The End of Time? : A new page on the same site as the "2012 - Is Something Big Coming?" link already posted, the author, Nicholas F. Schmidt has read Weidner and Bridges' The Mysteries of the Great Cross of Hendaye and incorporated the information into a new summary of his take on the 2012 scenario. The page is an introduction to a much more detailed version and there are a further 16 pages of supporting material, mainly about the latest media releases concerning global warming and cosmic dust changes and also comet scares. Joel Keene author of Cosmic Locusts, has just added the latest installment in his 2012-coincidence saga to his website at http://www.authorsden.com/visit/author.asp?AuthorID=10788 along with an account of his recent trip to Tikal. The new installment is called "Circumscribed Coalescence" and can be found under "articles", while the trip report, "Tickled at Tikal" is under "stories". Joel is struck by the synchronicity in the fact that his earliest memory occurred on October 3rd 1960, since it is 52 years before his 3rd October 2012 prophecy of an electromagnetic pulse arriving from Galactic Centre. He says: "That makes it exactly one of what is called a “sacred calendar round” from October 3, 1960 to October 3, 2012". However, a Calendar Round is 52 Haabs (365-day years) not 52 solar years, so the period does not represent a Calendar Round after all. However, when I checked to see when one Calendar Round before Joel's prophesied 2012 date would be, I found something that he would find much more significant, if I'm not mistaken. The 3rd October 2012 is 3 Imix 4 Yax (in the Tzolkin & Haab), and exactly one Calendar Round before that, when we had the previous 3 Imix 4 Yax combination, would be on the 16th October 1960. Joel reveals later in the article that his wife, son and mother-in law were all born on October 16th (cue Twilight Zone theme tune).
